Reserving a Vehicle: To ensure that a vehicle is available for your desired rental dates, we recommend booking your reservation as far in advance as possible. Any last-minute reservations are subject to vehicle availability; however, we will make every effort to accommodate your reservation request. A valid credit card is required at the time of reservation to confirm a booking. Your rental vehicle will be guaranteed and reserved exclusively for your trip in Alaska. In order to provide this guarantee for all our customers, we have a 20% non-refundable deposit based on your reservation’s total cost. Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 years old and renters under 25 years old will be subject to underage driver fee. We only accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards. Remaining balance on the reservation may be charged within 7 days of rental start date.
Modifying a Reservation: Change requests to the confirmed reservations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on vehicle availability & current pricing and may be subject to additional charges. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Reservation modifications are subject to current pricing & availability at the time of change request. Reservation changes made less than 7 days prior to scheduled pick-up date cannot decrease the total cost of the original reservation.
Cancellations & No-shows: The 20% deposit is non-refundable in case of a reservation cancellation. Reservation will be considered no-show when a vehicle is not picked up within 4 hours of scheduled time and the vehicle may be released. No-show reservations and cancellations made within less than 7 days prior to scheduled vehicle pick-up date will accrue non-refundable charges up to total cost of the original reservation.
Early & Late Returns: Rental vehicle can be returned early without any penalty; however, no refund will be issued for the early returns. Late returns are strongly discouraged to ensure that we can provide the same quality of service for all our customers. Late return fee of $199 plus additional full-day rental charges will apply if vehicle is returned any later than the return date & time stated on rental contract. You can avoid late return fee and additional charges by contacting our office and obtaining approval to extend your rental during the scheduled rental period. Additional rental charges may apply for approved extensions based on time and location. Extension approvals are subject to current pricing & vehicle availability.
At the Rental Counter: All rentals require the renter to have a valid credit card, valid Driver’s license, proof of full-coverage vehicle insurance (liability, collision, comprehensive) and information about any additional drivers (if applicable). International travelers need to purchase liability insurance and collision protection on our website or at the rental counter. Full-coverage insurance and proof of insurance are required for all renters including non-U.S. residents. All additional drivers and unpaved road plans must be disclosed prior to collection of rental vehicles.
Airport Shuttle: Our Anchorage office is located 14 minutes away from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport and offer on-demand Airport Shuttle service. You must select this option during your reservation as additional fees will apply. After you collect all your luggage, please call us at (907) 339-2000 to request a shuttle pick up and follow the signs in the airport to the ground transportation/shuttle stop. Our shuttle will bring you to the rental counter and your rental vehicle will be ready for pick up.
