CAN I PICK UP OR RETURN MY RENTAL VEHICLE AT THE AIRPORT?

We provide on-demand shuttle service to our customers who choose airport shuttle option in their reservation in Anchorage. We are conveniently located 13 minutes away from the Anchorage International Airport. Shuttle will take you to the rental counter and your rental vehicle will be ready for pick up. In Fairbanks, we are only 1 (one) mile away from Fairbanks International Airport and taxi/Uber services are generally available.

DO YOU REǪUIRE INSURANCE TO RENT A VEHICLE?

Yes. You must provide proof of acceptable full-coverage insurance at the time of vehicle pickup or purchase available insurance products offered on our website and at the rental counter. We only accept vehicle insurance policies from major U.S. carriers. International travelers are subject to the same insurance requirements as domestic renters and may purchase eligible insurance products through the Company’s website to satisfy rental eligibility requirements. Please contact us for additional information regarding insurance requirements.

DO YOU ACCEPT CASH OR DEBIT CARD TO RENT A VEHICLE?

You must provide a valid Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit card at the time of reservation and at the rental counter. We currently do not accept American Express.

CAN I RENT A CAR IF I’M UNDER 25 YEARS OLD?

Our minimum age to rent a car is 21 years old, however there is an underage fee and additional requirements for renters younger than 25 years old. Please contact us for additional information about age requirements.

IS A DEPOSIT REǪUIRED TO RESERVE A RENTAL VEHICLE?

We reserve the vehicle exclusively for you and charge a 20% deposit at the time of reservation. This is to ensure your vehicle is going to be ready when you arrive and there are no overbooking cancellations. Remaining balance of the reservation after deposit is due during or prior to vehicle pickup.

IS THE DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?

No, deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. However, the deposit will not be forfeited if you amend your reservation in advance. DO YOU OFFER UNLIMITED MILEAGE?

Yes. Our total price includes unlimited mileage for vehicles to be driven on paved roads within the State of Alaska, excluding any commercial use

CAN I DRIVE YOUR RENTAL VEHICLES ON UNPAVED ROADS?

As an industry standard, rental vehicles may not be driven on unpaved or gravel roads. However, select vehicle classes are allowed for limited travel on certain unpaved roads and are subject to a mandatory surcharge, which is listed within the options of the applicable vehicle The Dalton Highway is not an approved route for any of our vehicles. Renters must disclose any planned travel on unpaved or gravel roads before taking possession of the vehicle. Approved unpaved/gravel road use is subject to the gravel/unpaved road surcharge and taxes. Unauthorized or undisclosed gravel road travel will result in the surcharge being assessed and charged upon return of the vehicle, along with any applicable fees or taxes.

CAN I DRIVE YOUR RENTAL VEHICLE THROUGH CANADA BORDER?

If you plan to drive to Canada, please let us know as far in advance as possible so we can prepare the necessary documents for your trip. Additional fees and/or requirements may apply. All cross-border travel must be disclosed before taking possession of the vehicle. Please contact us for more details.

DO YOU OFFER ONE-WAY VEHICLE RENTALS?

We specialize in one-way rentals between select locations throughout Alaska. Additional fees may apply. Please utilize our website or contact our office for pricing, availability, and additional information.

DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING OR VAPING IN ANY OF YOUR RENTAL VEHICLES?

All vehicles are strictly smoke-free. Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco or cannabis products are prohibited inside and near the vehicle. If the vehicle is returned with evidence of smoking or vaping, including related odors, residue, or damage, additional detailing and deodorization charges will be assessed in accordance with our rental policy.

DO YOU REǪUIRE RENTERS TO CLEAN OR WASH THEIR RENTAL VEHICLE BEFORE RETURNING?

We provide a complimentary basic exterior car wash and interior vacuum service for all rental vehicles upon However, vehicles returned in a condition that requires cleaning or detailing beyond normal use will be subject to additional cleaning and detailing charges. Additional fees may apply for the removal of stains, odors, pet hair, excessive dirt, sand, mud, gravel, spills, or other debris from the interior or exterior of the vehicle. Any cleaning or detailing services required beyond our standard complimentary service will be assessed based on the vehicle’s condition at the time of return.

CAN I PICKUP OR RETURN MY RENTAL VEHICLE OUTSIDE OFFICE HOURS (aka AFTER-HOURS)?

We offer after-hours, self-service vehicle pickup and return options at select locations. Our online reservation system will display the available pickup and return times for each location. Additional flexibility may be available upon request; however, any exceptions or special arrangements must be approved and confirmed by our staff in advance. It is also recommended to text/email us pictures of your driver’s license and vehicle insurance ID card (if applicable) in advance to enhance your pickup experience. We encourage you to contact us if you’d like further assistance or wish to discuss alternative pickup or return times.

WHERE DO I PICKUP OR DROPOFF MY RENTAL VEHCILE IN WHITTIER?

Whittier is a small port town with two cruise terminals that are physically separated from one As a result, your vehicle pickup and return locations will depend on the cruise line you are traveling with.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and Azamara

These ships generally dock at the Chugach Glacier Gateway Cruise Terminal (also known as the Glacier Creek Terminal), located at 1313 Prince William Sound Dr, Whittier, AK If you are arriving at or departing from this terminal, vehicle pickup and drop-off will take place in the cruise terminal parking lot.

Princess Cruises, Holland America Line and all other renters

These cruise ships dock at the Whittier Alaska Cruise Ship Terminal on Camp Road. Guests arriving from this terminal, the ferry terminal, or Whittier town will pick up and return their vehicles at Whittier Parking, located at 3107

Whittier St, Whittier, AK 99693. This location is within walking distance of both the ferry terminal and the Princess/Holland America cruise terminal.

WHERE DO I PICKUP OR DROPOFF MY RENTAL VEHCILE IN SEWARD?

Our Seward office is conveniently located at 1608 Alameda St, Seward, AK GG664, just a short walk from both the cruise ship terminal and the Alaska Railroad train station. To make your arrival as easy as possible, our staff are also available inside the Seward Cruise Ship Terminal on Friday mornings to assist cruise passengers with vehicle Please contact us if you have any questions or need additional assistance.

IS THERE AN AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE AT FAIRBANKS LOCATION?

We do not currently offer any shuttle service at our Fairbanks location. However, our facility is conveniently located less than 1 (one) mile from Fairbanks International Airport, and a variety of third-party transportation options are available in the area. Should shuttle service become available in the future, it is expected to be offered to all eligible renters. Please contact us if you need further assistance regarding our Fairbanks location.
